ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

Since becoming a mum to my daughter in 2021 and experiencing postpartum psychosis, I have made it my mission to become a maternal mental health advocate, speaker and writer.

I have a deep commitment to raising awareness of postpartum psychosis and severe perinatal mental illness. As I saw first-hand how quickly a mother’s mental health can deteriorate, and how vital early recognition, informed care and compassionate intervention truly are.

Through speaking, writing and advocacy, I share my lived experience to bridge the gap between clinical knowledge and real-life reality. I want professionals to understand not just the symptoms, but the human being behind them. Because, when we can work together, we can make a difference.

“My mission is simple but urgent.
To educate as many current and training health professionals as possible about perinatal mental illness - particularly postpartum psychosis. So that mothers are recognised, supported and treated before crisis point.”
